SWIFT's GREEN STRATEGY

How we are Green?

Swift Green Filters uses Green Strategy. We are the green alternative to the conventional filter. Our activated carbon is produced using a new technology that carbonizes dried coconut shells in an enclosed self-sustaining system. This process captures and converts the emissions into useful thermal energy. We offer a variety of filters that are compatible with all leading brand refrigerators.Coconuts are a renewable and sustainable source of charcoal. Grown in over 80 countries, coconuts have a total production of 61 million tonnes per year. All those husks are being tossed or burned as waste! We take those husks and use them to create the charcoal for our carbon filters. Coconut carbon is superior to other sources of activated carbon. It has 50% more micro-pores for capturing contaminantsYou can learn more about our green process

WHAT WE OFFER

OUR GREEN STRATEGY

We are committed to making products that offer consumers a healthy, cost effective and eco-friendly alternative to their filtration needs

Green Filter Process

Conventional carbon filters release pollution and emit greenhouse gases into the air during production

Pollution and greenhouse gases are reduced by using a New Technology that converts emissions into thermal energy

By starting the first filter green wave with our stylish clean recyclable packaging and our Eco-friendly filters

Our goal is to continue to build on our green strategy for all future products and development.

Which results in standards are expressed within our Green Filter brand

SWIFT's GREEN STRATEGY

Why Coconut Carbon?

The use of activated carbon to remove harmful impurities from water has been practiced since Roman times. Activated carbon is extremely porous with a very large surface area, making it an effective adsorbent material, and common natural substances like lignite, bituminous and anthracite coal and peat, wood and coconut shell can be used to make activated carbon.

Swift Green chooses to use coconut shell to make the activated carbon because:

  1. Coconuts are grown in over eighty countries and have a total production of 61 million tonnes per year.
  2. This leaves coconut husks. Which are discarded or burned.
  3. Swift Green Filters takes the consumer waste (husk) and activates it in a closed system to create carbon for our filters.
  4. Coconuts a fast renewable resource.
  5. Coconut carbon has 50% more micro pores for capturing and holding contaminants than any other carbon, as well as its unique ability to polish the taste of water.

MAKING PROCESS

How we make Coconut Carbon?

01
Process Step 1

The process begins with coconut shells which are sourced for our unique process.

02
Process Step 2

Coconuts are (heated) charred in a reactor. Methane & VOC gases are captured & converted into thermal energy.

03
Process Step 3

The coconut char is rotated in kiln. This produces Activated Carbon.

04
Process Step 4

Granular Activated Carbon & Carbon Block. High performance GAC is produced and converted into consumer products.
